American – 22K Gold Eagle 2021

The 2021 American ‘Gold Eagle’ featuring the new Type II reverse design. The new Type 2 Gold Eagle is the first update to the design of these historic coins since 1986 and will be used for at least 25 years per US law.

The new Type II design is by artist Jennie Norris and was sculpted by the US Mint’s Renata Gordon. It features a close-up focus on the national bird in stunning detail and features the normal inscriptions surrounding it.
