Carefully struck by The Royal Mint to honour a legendary emblem of British heritage – the Tudor Dragon. Symbolising the lineage of the Tudor dynasty, this majestic creature has long been associated with medieval heraldry. The reverse of the coin, designed by illustrator David Lawrence, features a detailed depiction of the Tudor Dragon that graces the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court Palace.
