The Gold ‘Maple Leaf’ 2016 are produced by the Canadian Royal Mint and are one of the most widely recognised and traded coins worldwide.

The Maple Leaf has been the representative of Canada since the early 1700. Since the coin was first introduced in 1979, the Gold Maple Leaf has not undergone too many design changes. The simple design features the extremely detailed image of a maple leaf on the reverse side. Surrounding the large leaf are purity indications as well as the word “Canada.” The leaf featured on the reverse side of the coin is so intricately designed that even its individual veins and stems can be deciphered with the naked eye.
